my lovely wife and best friend janet was the kindest and most caring person i have ever met i consider that although i am heartbroken that she is no longer with me which i find completely overwhelming i take great comfort from sharing 38 years of my life with a very special person i will spend the rest my life trying my best to live up to her memory chris clark

Dear Aunty Janet, this is the poem I was going to read at your funeral. Miss you.
Because You Have Lived.
To laugh often and much.
To win the respect of intelligent people, and the affection of children.
To earn the appreciation of honest critics.
To appreciate beauty. To find the best in others.
To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, or a garden patch.
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded.
